August Owlcrate Unboxing

Hello Readers,

Today I am bringing to you the Owlcrate unboxing for the month of August. Just to recap for those of you who might not know what owlcrate is, it is a monthly book suscription box for YA new releases. The good thing is that not only it contains a new release but also some bookish items. You can chec the wesite here.

Each month has a specific theme and for this month it was Fast Times at YA high. These are the goodies included in the box.

1. A Susanne draws from the Harry Potter’s series (which is gorgeous) and a button that says ‘ Hogwarts is my home’ created exclusively by Taryn Draws

2. A decomposition notebook  and another button that says ‘Raptor chapter’

3. An adult coloring book with stress relieving patterns from Blue Star Coloring

4. A propaganda sheet from Rainbow Rowell books that says ‘ The problem with picking up a Rainbow Rowell book is eventually you have to put it down’. Also, a unique ‘Eleanor and Parker’ necklace that you can only get from Owlcrate.

5. And finally (drums please) the book, ‘P.S. I like you’ from Kasie West which comes with a signed plate, some colouring pencils and a letter from the author explaining a bit of how she came up with the book

‘ While spacing out in chemistry class, Lily scribbles some of her favorite song lyrics onto her desk. The next day, she finds thatsomeone has continued the lyrics on the desk and added a message to her. Intrigue!

Soon, Lily and her anonymous pen pal are exchanging full-on letters—sharing secrets, recommending bands, and opening up to each other. Lily realizes she’s kind of falling for this letter writer. Only, who is he? As Lily attempts to unravel the mysteryand juggle school, friends, crushes, and her crazy family, she discovers that matters of the heart can’t always be spelled out…’ 

The topic for September is Darkness and I just can’t wait to see what is the books pick.
