My Summer Reading list

Hello Readers!

I know that I am doing this post a bit late but anyway here are the books that I am planning to read this pending months of summer. The books are a mixed of YA, Mystery, Romance and Thriller. Some of them have been sent to me and others I want to read as I have heard so many good things about them!

An unkind devotion

An Unkind devotion by Elle Eaves.

“If your love was the trigger for a trap that would destroy everything you care about, could you cut out your heart before it was too late?

Seventeen-year-old Sophia Harden has spent her life being uprooted. She knows better than to believe her mother when she says this move to small town Grimmell, NY is their last—and at first that’s fine with her. Grimmell doesn’t exactly roll out the welcome mat, and her mother’s calculated attempts to push Sophia on Ethan Warwick, handsome young scion of Grimmell’s first and richest family, leave both Sophia and Ethan doing everything in their power to avoid each other.

But forces neither of them is aware of are working toward a sinister goal—one that could spell ruin for both of them.

For unbeknown to Sophia, she carries within her a dark power: a curse capable of a devastation no one can recover from. And her connection to Ethan is at the core of a wicked plot for revenge that began long before her birth.”

Back at the Naturals HQ, Cassie, Dean, Michael, Lia and Sloane are dealing with a new FBI agent – and Agent Sterling is determined to keep them out of trouble. But Dean knows too much about his father’s crimes not to get involved, and his fellow Naturals won’t let him face this alone. But as the bodies mount up, the Naturals find themselves in a deadly dangerous race against time…”

She is catapulted without warning into the intrigues of lairds and spies that may threaten her life …and shatter her heart. For here, James Fraser, agallant young Scots warrior, shows her a passion so fierce and a love so absolute that Claire becomes a woman torn between fidelity and desire…and between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.”

Wiskey devils

Whiskey Devils by Brandon Zenner

The night walker

The night walker by Sebastian Fitzek

“As a young man, Leon Nader suffered from insomnia. As a nightwalker, he even turned to violence during his nocturnal excursions and had psychiatric treatment for his condition.

Eventually he was convinced he had been cured – but one day, years later, Leon’s wife disappears from their flat under mysterious circumstances. Could it be that his illness has broken out again?

In order to find out how he behaves in his sleep, Leon fits a movement-activated camera to his forehead – and when he looks at the video the next morning he makes a discovery that bursts the borders of his imagination. His nocturnal personality goes through a door that is totally unknown to him and descends into the darkness….”

The lost hero

The lost hero by Rick Riordan

“Old enemies awaken as camp half-blood’s new arrivals prepare for war. When Jason, Piper and Leo crash land at Camp Half-Blood, they have no idea what to expect. Apparently this is the only safe place for children of the Greek Gods – despite the monsters roaming the woods and demigods practising archery with flaming arrows and explosives. But rumours of a terrible curse – and a missing hero – are flying around camp. It seems Jason, Piper and Leo are the chosen ones to embark on a terrifying new quest, which they must complete by the winter solstice in just four days time. Can the trio succeed on this deadly mission – and what must they sacrifice in order to survive?”
